Camp Boys / Internment in Canada dossier

9 of 9
A white enamel cup. In the bottom, two small slits have been cut and the metal has rusted around them.

Tin cup from internment camp, circa 1940-1941.
This cup was recovered by Gerry Waldston fifty years after his release from Camp B (Ripples, New Brunswick). It was used for breakfast, where the internees were given “birdseed” (corn flakes).
