Mrs. M. Levine
900 Giles Blvd. E.,
Windsor, Ont.

Dear Mrs. Levine:

It is upon Miss Rose Ganser’s suggestion that I am approaching you on behalf of a boy by the name of Helmut KALLMANN, the last student still left in the camp. Knowing how much good work you have done for the boys, I wonder if through your efforts it could be made possible to find a sponsor yet for Helmut Kallmann.

The boy was born as the son of a Berlin lawyer in 1922, and is of a very quiet introspective type; he is a really decent human being, who for the very fact that he has been all too reticent has never found a sponsor so far. He passed McGill Senior Matric in camp and obtained 804 marks. His special interests are music, and languages. We shall be only too glad to furnish such other information as you might wish us to supply.

We trust that you will be able to make a helpful suggestion. Thank you very much indeed.

Very truly yours,

Saul Hayes Secretary
